Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm Wedding

Wow wow wow! That is the only word I have for Lara and Carlos’s Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm Wedding in Holicong PA.

Lara and Carlos are both directors of Photography Film makers on various movie sets so choosing every vendor to cohesively flow together was no easy task. I was sooo honored to even be chosen in the mix of the amazing team that helped pull this day today. This hot summer wedding in August 2020 is one I will NEVER forget. From the decor to the florals, the design, the love and just the amount of happiness this day embodied was completely infectious. Instead of my words, lets hear the words of our bride Lara:

“Our guest list ended up being 32 people. After a year and a half of planning, we were all set to have a 220-person wedding at the end of March. But with COVID, we had to postpone the event a mere two weeks beforehand. We initially rescheduled to July, but ultimately made the call to cancel the big wedding entirely. Our parents, who are doctors, were both running COVID testing centers in New Jersey and Florida at the time– and dealing with a massive influx of sick patients. We just knew we couldn’t safely hold a large event this summer. I found the Inn at Barley Sheaf online and planned the microwedding (remotely, from Georgia) in just 8 weeks! It ended up being the perfect event for us. It felt like a true country escape, surrounded by our closest friends. My father even exclaimed, “this is better than the big wedding!”My husband Carlos and I both work in the film industry as cinematographers. We relocated to Atlanta from New York. Carlos is of Cuban descent from Miami and I’m a Middle-Eastern girl who grew up in New Jersey. We met on a film set in 2014. He proposed five years later in Havana!” – Lara

I couldn’t have pictured a better couple to spend this day with and I am just so blessed that I have gained new friendships from this wedding, can’t wait to shoot her sister, Tala’s wedding this year in NJ
